Zeurítia & Libor Šmoldas @ Kavárna Dejvického divadla 14.4.2025
A busy music week took off last night to the sounds of smooth Bossa Nova in the Kavárna Dejvického divadla, Prague 6. Responsible for the rhythm we saw and heard a slightly unusual duo, Zeurítia & Libor Šmoldas. I say slightly unusual because Libor and Zeurítia did gig together in the old days, Zeurítia even has three albums on her CV. So last night there was no new invention. But, where the “normal” parents take the night off to go out and enjoy themselves, this duo takes the night off and goes out to enjoy us! It’s a little win-win situation, we are happy to hear some skillful and relaxing music, Zeurítia and Libor are happy doing something together they don’t have a chance to fulfill very often, so…

I have never been to Kavárna Dejvického divadla, a small intimate place with a very special atmosphere. I suggest you go and have a look at this historical building, a visit to the Kavárna gives you the feeling of almost stepping into ancient time. The coffee shop is attached to the famous Dejvického divadla (Dejvice Theatre) which itself is unique, or what do you think of a 100% attendance rate for their performances! Hurry up though, the theater is scheduled for a major renovation that’s supposed to start yesterday .
. A small surprise
Like I already mentioned, this is a busy week what comes to The Sound of Music, so last night with Zeurítia and Libor was a perfect start for what’s to come in the near future. Staying tuned to this website gives you the small and not always so usual hints on where to go for a little quality time, and at least one very pleasant surprise is to be expected later in the week.
