Hetty Kate Trio, Jazz Dock 14.1
And it was just as good as it was supposed to be. She charmed, seduced and offered us an absolutely brilliant evening with the music they call jazz. Last night a sold out Jazz Dock, Prague saw the start of Hetty Kate, European tour. This lady who has been praised, glorified so I don’t know if there’s any superlatives left for her. 
And of course there’s a reason for this, and instead of me trying to repeat everything that’s been said about her, let’s just make it short and say that if you are anywhere even close to some place where Hetty Kate’s tour is to be found, go there, you won’t regret it, last night was a proof thereof. And one has to remember, she’s not alone. Touring with her in the republic is Libor Šmoldas – g; Nick Haywood – b., yes these are the same two out of three guys that blew our minds out last Sunday in this very same place, and yesterday made no exception. Libors guitar and Nick’s bass handling got the just the loud ovations that they deserved from an audience who understood and appreciated what was offered to them. Together these three musicians will for sure make your January survival much easier, and now I will repeat myself, don’t miss this if you have a chance to experience it.
