🎸 Libor Šmoldas Organ Trio: Live Album Recording! (Hot in the HotSpots);
This month’s Hot in the HotSpots is an absolute milestone for the domestic jazz scene. The incredible Libor Šmoldas Organ Trio is celebrating a full decade of playing together, and they are inviting us to be a part of history! Over two consecutive August nights, the trio will be recording a live album right on the Jazz Dock stage.
Expect an evening of soulful, modern jazz drawing heavily from 1960s blues, funk, and soul. Between Libor’s world-class guitar lines, Daniel Šoltis’s razor-sharp drumming, and the rare, authentic roar of Jakub Zomer’s Hammond B3 organ, these two nights are going to be legendary. Two straight nights of high-intensity playing is a massive challenge, so let’s show up, fill the club, and give them the legendary Prague crowd energy they deserve!
