Pavel Klikar and Original Prague Syncopated Orchestra
featuring special guests
I will stay true to my word: I won’t be a hypocrite and claim a personal grief I didn’t earn. I still did not know the man personally, but after last night’s sold-out concert at the Prague Central Library, I have begun to understand his gravity. If you wonder about the headlines, don’t. Some people never truly leave this planet, even when their physical presence fades. Pavel Klikar is clearly one of them.
And last night? It was a mosaic of memories, stories, and laughter. There were tears, too—mostly of joy for having shared in something so rare. The music was a journey through a remarkable life, singular and original. Every person in that room seemed to have a small anecdote or a dear memory tucked away, waiting to be shared.
The Original Prague Syncopated Orchestra left no one cold; they knew exactly who they were playing for. I refuse to comment on individual technical skills or performances, as every note, step, and song came purely from the heart. This was not a night of separate performances—because, in truth, there was only one man on that stage.
