Prague live music: Three of Seven launch their grand European summer tour

Three of Seven and their grand European summer tour

Three of Seven Special Tour Feature: Summer 2026

It is highly unusual for yhalinen.com to dedicate an entire standalone feature just to promote a band’s tour schedule. But rules are meant to be broken—especially when dealing with a trio this exceptionally good. Finding these three in the same room is a rare event, largely due to their wildly scattered passports, a logistical puzzle beautifully hidden inside the name of the band itself. Make no mistake: these guys are full-blooded, world-class pros. Their musical CVs would make any jazz artist green with envy, and the way they handle their instruments will easily make the rest of us go green, too!

Let me break down the simple, genius geography behind the name Three of Seven:

  • Jesse Simpson (North America… sort of): A native Californian with deep roots in the fiercely competitive New York jazz scene, Jesse anchors the group’s North American soul. Of course, nowadays he is heavily rooted right here in Beroun, Czech Republic—which is definitely in Europe, last time I checked!
  • Samuel Zerna (Australia… sort of): Born in Adelaide with a high-profile musical upbringing in Melbourne, Sam represents the smallest continent on our planet. However, as a major heavy-hitter on the current New York scene with a home address in Brooklyn, he technically loops back into the North American bracket, right?
  • Libor Šmoldas (Europe… definitely): Born, raised, and living right here in the Czech Republic, Libor is the undisputed European pillar of the group. Though honestly, he is such an absolute globetrotter—constantly touring across Asia, Australia, and the USA—that he could easily claim ownership of a few other continents himself.

Three musicians representing three of the seven continents. Beyond the clever global math, these three are exceptional composers and deeply bonded friends. You can instantly hear that warmth and mutual trust in their playing. There is a famous saying in the jazz world: “Some musicians play what they know; the greats play what they want.” Three of Seven play exactly what they want.

They are incredibly polite, hilariously funny, and absolute monsters on stage. Do not miss your chance to catch them live over the next few weeks. Below is their official European summer tour schedule—pick your dates, book your tickets, and get ready to be amazed. I know I will be there!
