The Night of Female Singers 2026
As I mentioned in my April “HotSpots,” the countdown is over! Tomorrow marks the takeoff of the biggest event of its kind in the Republic: Noc zpěvaček 2026 – The Night of Female Singers.
The starting gun fires at Jazz Dock at 14:00 with a workshop open to everyone, regardless of experience. This is a brilliant concept—it’s a rare chance to get “inside info” on the vocal craft and finally test out those secret musical dreams!
To top it off, the workshop is led by the experienced Mirka Novak. Beyond being a true professional, she has a wonderful personality; I personally cannot think of a better person to lead this opening session. She will make you feel welcome from the very first note. From there, the momentum builds toward the Grand Finale at the Velkopřevorský palác (Grand Priory Palace), featuring a closing gala concert with Beata Hlavenková & Kristína Mihaľová on Sunday the 26th at 19:00.

As of now, there are still tickets available at Jazz Dock for the Friday and Saturday workshops. For the Friday and Saturday evening shows, only standing room remains—so act fast! For the most accurate updates and booking, visit jazzdock.cz.
