Kelly Green Trio @ Ateliér 57 23.11.2025
The best jazz club in Prague, the one in Beroun had their end of the season concert last night, and in what way! 
Just like last year we were to thank Kelly Green Trio, Kelly Green – p; Evan Hyde – dr; Luca Soul Rosenfeld – b, for the entertainment (link to the 2024 blog HERE). The reputation was ahead of Kelly and her trio, a sold out Ateliér 57 was a clear sign of that, the last arrivals were only offered standing places and this in spite of the weather that was, to put it mildly, little refreshing. And just like last year we got what we came for, a concert that had it all. Skills of course, a set list of modern classic jazz performed with a dynamic and versatile sound yes, but most of all it had emotions. A performance that was so heartfelt, joyful and honest got us all laughing and crying at the same time. I could write a novel about last night but I hope I made my point already, so I just state that this was a worthy ending to the musical year at Ateliér 57, an ending that will make us wait for 2026. Thank you Kelly Green Trio!

This concert, which originally was scheduled for December but was changed to yesterday due technical reasons, was like I already mentioned, the last one for 2025. The story will continue on15th February 2026 with Lorenz Kellhuber, ‘Standard Experience’ featuring Joe Sanders @ 19:00, and concluding from yesterday I suggest you show up in good time, or try to make a reservation, if this is possible, I really don’t know.
I big thank you to Bara and Jesse (and Stella of course) for giving us these fantastic, high class concert series in a very original and personal environment. We will see you in February 2026, at the latest!
