A Different Kind of Sound! 🎶

It’s that time of year again—the season when fathers and sons get that same wistful look in their eyes, though for very different reasons. The older generation remembers the miles gone by; the younger dreams of the roads yet to come.
It’s the weekend where chrome shines, leather is the only fabric with street cred, and size definitely matters!
I’m talking about the return to Brno for the annual Motosalon (March 5–8). Billed as Central Europe’s largest motorcycle exhibition, it draws thousands of spectators to the Brno Exhibition Centre. By the time Sunday rolls around, the globe will have been “driven around” a thousand times, even if not a single bike actually leaves the hall.

You might wonder: What does this have to do with a website dedicated to Czech Jazz?
Well, I’m always hunting for new and different sounds. To some, a revving engine is just noise; to others, it’s the only true music! There is something legendary and mysterious about the world of motorcycles—a special energy you won’t find anywhere else, and to be honest, much of this is maintained by the motorcyclists themselves!

So, take a trip to Brno this weekend. It’s worth the visit—just remember to bring a well-equipped wallet, because you never know what might tempt you!
