Libor Šmoldas Quartet & the "Baptism" of SORRY, MILES!
The rumors were true, and the official press release just confirmed it!. Libor Šmoldas Quartet new album, “Sorry, Miles!”, officially drops March 6 (Bivak Records).
It’s a clever “musical investigation” into the 100th anniversary of Miles Davis. Libor and his world-class quartet (Libor Šmoldas – g; Mikuláš Pokorný – p; Jesse Simpson – dr; Tomáš Baroš – b,) tackle the songs Miles famously claimed as his own—like Solar and Tune Up—while adding originals inspired by the legend’s art.

-Prague: March 11 @ Jazz Club U Staré Paní (Godfather: Writer Petr Stančík)
-Brno: April 7 @ JazzFestBrno (Godfather: Guitarist Peter Bernstein)
