Where to go and who to listen to...
. I concentrate mostly on the local bands/artists, that of course doesn’t always mean that they are Czech, but local and good, yes! 
I have only put in concerts/gigs where tickets are still available when writing this. Keep the address for this site in a good place, for the next month you’ll have new information as we get there. If you want to have a small knowledge about the clubs in question you can get it HERE… Concert for Sudan; I guess this month’s HOT in the HotSpots doesn’t surprise anybody. This is an important concert, in the middle of a world that’s going more and more crazy all the time. It’s not only about lending a helping hand to people in need, but also proof that some humanity still exists, and once again it’s the musicians, organisers, performers and listeners that lead the way! Like I already once mentioned before, I may be naive and a hopeless romantic but that’s me, and it’s still an important event. The other half is of course the music, look at the list of artists, your honor, “I rest my case”! ❤️❤️❤️

Organic Trio; The name of the band hides these gentlemen; Lukáš Chejn – g; Jakub Zomer – org, voc; Martin Kopřiva – dr. The only thing I can say is that normally here’s so much energy you could heat up the whole of Prague! A very good start to the week!

Libor’s Jam Session; There are two Jam sessions at the Old Lady this month, so just to be on the safe side, go to them both. No idea what to expect, whos gonna perform or, or, or…. The only thing you can be sure of is that you won’t regret it! 😀

Voice Contrabass Octet; For all of us, who are looking for something new, here’s a most. Four singers and four time contrabass. How does that sound? It sounds good, at least the promo videos I’ve heard. This is a unique possibility because this is the only performance before the summer!

Lorenz Kellhuber Trio; The technical break is over and we are getting back to normal life. The best jazz club in Prague, the one in Beroun, is back in business with its monthly concerts. They start where they left last year, on a very high level. Kristina Barta Quartet; When writing this it’s a bit unsure who and what but… Since here is Kristina, our leading lady in contemporary jazz? you can be sure that the quality is there.
