Jamie Marshall’s Amplified Acoustic Band III

One couldn’t agree with Jamie M. more when he opened yesterday’s gig at the Jazzdock, Prague. It was about time to get all four members of the AAB on stage at the same time, and yes, at the same stage! 🙂 Why? Because they’re good, entertaining, fun… you name it. Yesterday’s gig made no exceptions. We all got what we wanted, from boots to hitting the road and everything in between and around it . Jamie of course with his experience knows his audience and how to handle it, and there’s nothing wrong with that, ask anybody present yesterday! 🙂 From a musical point of view all four, Jamie Marshall, voc.g., Svatka Štěpánková, voc.b., Radek Hlávka, g., Martin Petrásek, d., are of course skilled professionals and that alone gives us music lovers a good reason to catch up with these guys, a pure joy to listen to.There is a fifth member also (I missed his name, help me!), the guy behind the mixer table who last night did exactly what he was supposed to do, and also in a very professional way. I’ve seen/heard a lot of gigs turn out to be a small catastrophe because of the mixer, but that was not a problem yesterday. So a pleasant night that one could wish to experience more often, thank you all five! A small sidetrack for the ending, AAB have also in the history released a CD but they never advertise it? That’s sad because it’s really worth listening to! 😉
